We were driving home from Iowa and stopped at a gas station to fill up on gas. We asked a local where a great sit down restaurant was. He told us about Sunrise. When we pulled up it looked so very little. When we walked in we were blew away because the place was packed!! We were seated pretty fast for how busy they were. Their food was also very good! Cream of chicken and rice soup was AMAZING!!! If you are ever driving through you should stop for a bite. Staff was very friendly also.
We have visited this restaurant twice, one 3 year ago for breakfast, very large portions and delicious, and in the evening on Halloween, thoroughly enjoyed the large selection of food. The portions we're large and food delicious, and the waitresses seemed to enjoy being there and appeared genuinely happy to see the costumed children and adults that came in to eat. Very enjoyable experience.
Good food great service and i havent seen prices that low since the 70's. If you leave hungry its your fault not theirs
